I just can’t help but notice how many of the Flickr members shouting out against videos are the same one who cried the loudest at the so called censorship of members in Germany and a few other countries.

I really like what “BICKR (Cher Wilk) had to say;

“It is ironic to me that the same people who denounce the removal of freedom and liberty on a regular basis in their photo streams are among the first ones to sign a petition against Flickr video.”

It is also worth noting that “Artist” of the 19th century declared that photography would bring the end to true art.

I couldn’t care less about videos on Flickr, although I did put one up, as it was pertinent to my stream and I wanted to see how the system handles it, etc…

I’m against all of the objectors tying to censor me!

I thought we were past all that after WWII and the fall of the Iron Curtain. (well most of us lucky enough to not live in China, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, etc….).

Some have complained of slow downs on Flickr since the videos, even in my own city, but I haven’t had slowdowns… So it’s probably different for different ISPs and not due to Flickr itself.
